Today we’re celebrating one of the most underrated players in NBA history. One of the stars of ESPN & Netflix’s The Last Dance, Scottie Pippen has seen a huge increase in his card and memorabilia market.
Pippen was always viewed as Michael Jordan’s sidekick, however he is a Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer and was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in Basketball history. When Pippen left the Bulls following the 1997-98 Season, he never put up the same numbers again. During his 17-year NBA career, he was a 7-time All Star, 7-time All NBA, 10-time All Defensive Team and a 6-time NBA Champ.
Pippen’s 1988-89 Fleer Rookie Card can be picked up as low as $25 right now. That’s almost double what they were going for before The Last Dance. An authentic autograph will now set you back almost $100, and increase of about 25-30%.
