A rare 2003-04 Topps Chrome #111 LeBron James Rookie sold on eBay last night for $71,200. The card received the highly coveted Black Label from Beckett Grading Service. A card can only get the Black Label from BGS if all four of the card’s sub grades are a 10.

The auction had 136 bids, with 37 bids at $50,000 or more. The winning bidder only has 87 feedback (beating out a bidder with just 4 feedback). It will be interesting to see if this is a legit sale or a if this card will be re-listed in the coming days. The last sale of a Black Label LeBron Rookie was on June 9th for $57,100.
