We finally have another Retail Therapy Clearance edition! We’ve struck out at finding 2020 Football products over the last month but we were able to score a couple of clearance products at Walmart. For this Retail Therapy we’re opening a 2019 Absolute Football Value Pack.
2019 football cards feature an intriguing rookie class. With potential studs Kyler Murray, Daniel Jones leading the way, there is a mix of intriguing QB prospects that include Jarrett Stidham, Gardner Minshew II and Dwayne Haskins to help add long-term value to the set.
The value pack contained 20 cards and was marked down to $5.48. Each Value Pack also contains three green parallel cards.

It wasn’t the most productive break in turns of pulling big names. On the positive side, we pulled 9 rookies out of the 20 cards. On the negative, the biggest name rookies were a tight end (Noah Fant) and a defensive player (Devin White). We did get a green parallel rookie of Jaguars rookie tight end Josh Oliver , but he only got in to 4 games last year and caught just 3 passes.
The cards are really nice looking. The foil board aspect of the rookies and the inserts really pop. I think this is most evident in the NFL Icons set. The Tom Brady we pulled is a really sharp looking card.
We probably would try another one of these packs if we could find them on clearance again and there was nothing else available. Most likely, we’d probably just save the money and use it towards something from 2020. If you would like to try your luck but can’t find them in the store, you can pick up a pack on eBay for as low as $7.50.
