When Topps announced they had signed a deal with Trevor Lawrence to product an exclusive set, I was a little skeptical. The set features 30 cards featuring classic Topps football designs and 20 artistic cards that were designed by Chase and Brooke Lawrence, Trevor’s brother and sister-in-law.

Last week, Topps offered the set on presale to Montgomery Club members (which I highly recommend joining in November when they open up for new members). The box features 25 cards, a 1:2 chance at a parallel card and a 1:5 chance to pull an autographed card. The cost was $75 a box.

Grade: A+

The grade is definitely reflective of the autograph we pulled. Getting an autographed card of the #1 Pick in the NFL Draft is a huge pull. Getting a numbers parallel was also a very nice bonus.

The set actually is really nice looking. The classic card designs are great. Much like the the flagship Topps releases, finding today’s players on card designs from childhood is fun mashup. I’ll definitely work on getting the other 25 cards I need to complete the set on eBay.

If you are interested in ripping a box they have more than doubled in price after selling out. Boxes are currently going for $160+ on eBay.
