Today’s Card of the Day features one of the most quoted athletes ever. Lawrence Peter Berra was born on this day in 1925. Better known as Yogi, the New York Yankee backstop had a storied career that led to even more stories.

Berra is one of the biggest legends to ever play the game. At the time of his retirement, he was considered the greatest catcher to ever play in Major League Baseball. He played 19 years and was an All-Star 18 times. He won three MVP Awards, was a 10-time Champion as a player (and 13-time Champion overall) and made the Major League Baseball All-Century Team.
