Jack Heidemann signed and returned his 1971 Topps Rookie card in 9 days. He also signed the protective index card I include in the SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) . The card was sent via his home in Arizona. The address can be found on SCN for members only.
While Heidemann may not be a well known name, he spent 8 years in the Major Leagues. He was the 11th Pick in the 1967 Draft and made his major league debut in 1969 at the age of 19. He was known for his incredible range at shortshort but managed to only hit .211 in his career.
