TTM – Rick Cerone

Rick Cerone signed and returned his 1986 Topps Atlanta Braves card in 9 days. The card was sent to his personal residence in New Jersey. The address for him can be found on SCN for members only. Please note, Mr. Cerone only signs 1 card at time, do not send him multiple items.

Cerone was the 7th overall pick of the 1975 draft by the Cleveland Indians. He would spend 18 years in the major leagues with his best year coming in 1980 with the Yankees, where he finished 7th in the MVP voting. He was a career .245 hitter but was better known for his strong arm and defense behind the plate.

After his on-field career ended, he would go on to broadcast for both the Yankees and Orioles. In 1998 he founded the Newark Bears of the Atlantic League (Independent League). The team would go on to be one of the most successful Independent teams.
