We got lucky with a surprise little Friday night Retail Therapy. We found a Fat Pack of 2020 Donruss Optic at Target. Each Fat Pack contains 16 cards and there are 4 Lime Green Parallels on average per pack. The pack costs $9.99 at retail.
The set features 100 base cards. There are also a lot of subsets including Diamond Kings, All Stars and Rated Rookies. The Rated Rookies set features a very strong list of young players. You can find Luis Robert, Dustin May, Brendan McKay, Kwang-Hyun Kim, Bo Bichette, Aristides Aquino, Trent Grisham, Gavin Lux, Yordan Alvarez, Yoshitomo Tsutsugo, Shun Yamaguchi and Shogo Akiyama.
Here’s what we pulled:

Mauricio Dubon Rated Rookie Autograph

Lime Green Prizm: Lucas Giolito Diamond Kings, Logan Webb Rated Rookies, Jack Flaherty, Shane Bieber.

Francisco Lindor Mythical, Alex Bregman Diamond Kings, Joey Votto Illusions.

Justin Dunn Rated Rookie, Patrick Sandoval Rated Rookie, Sheldon Neuse Rated Rookie, Fernando Tatís Jr., Freddie Freeman, Mike Soroka, Shane Bieber, Jack Flaherty.
Review: B+
On the positive side, finding an autograph in a single fat pack of retail is always a huge plus! Also, the Lime Green Prizm cards are really nice looking in person, we hope they carry these over to Football this year.
As is our problem with all Donruss baseball products, the lack of licensing is a big negative. With proper licensing, these cards would be some of our favorites of this year. Some Donruss products do a great job of hiding the fact there are no logos, but these Optic cards are really hurt by the fact.
If you can’t find these in a retail store in your area, you can pick them up on eBay starting at around $15. However, as the majority of these cards don’t have a ton of value on the secondary market, our recommendation would be to just save that money and pick up the singles you want.
