Former Major League Baseball Pitcher Dick Hughes signed and returned his 1967 Topps rookie card in 9 days. The card was sent to his Post Office Box in Arkansas. The address can be found on SCN for members only.

Hughes only pitched three seasons in the major leagues, but his impact was lasting. A beloved member of the Cardinals family who finished 2nd in the 1967 Rookie of the Year voting to future Hall of Famer Tom Seaver. He finished his rookie campaign with 16 wins and a 2.67 ERA in 221 and a 1/3 innings. He suffered an arm injury the following Spring Training and only pitched one more season in the majors.
