Niedenfuer was a very solid relief pitcher during the 1980’s. He spent 10 years in the major leagues with the Dodgers, Orioles, Mariners and Cardinals. His best season come in 1983 for the Dodgers, as he finished the year with 1.90 ERA in 66 games covering 94 2/3 innings.
