Garrett Whitlock signed and returned his 2019 Topps Heritage Minor League card in 197 days. The card was sent to his personal residence before the original Spring Training began this year. The address for him can be found on SCN for members only.
Whitlock began his professional career in 2017 after being the New York Yankees 18th Round pick in the draft. Whitlock has worked his way up through the system and spent 2019 in AA Trenton. He had a 3.07 ERA in 14 starts for the Thunder last year.
He ranked as the Yankees 18th best prospect heading into the 2019 and was up to the 15th best prospect at their 2019 mid-season update. Despite his solid season last year, he did not rank in the Baseball America or MLB Pipeline Yankees Top 30 prospects this year.
